Douglas Henderson art
Paleoblog has discovered that famed paleoartist Douglas Henderson is personally selling some great prints of his artwork at his eBay store.
In the world of paleoart, Henderson is a rockstar. Since the 1980s his work has helped shape the way we view dinosaurs. If you cracked open a dinosaur book or visited a museum display in the last 30 years, chances are you are familiar with his work.
With meticulous attention to accuracy, Henderson illustrates not just the prehistoric creature that is the subject of the sketch or painting, but also the rich environments and landscapes in which the creature lived, resulting in pieces that are as much artistic (in the truest sense of the word) as they are scientifically sound.
Above is a sample of just a few of the wonderful signed prints he has for sale for just $30 plus shipping. (He also has some pricier original sketches for sale.) I am a huge fan of Doug Henderson so please check out his store for more information on him and on the individual prints.
